As a graduate of Texas State, Diana Orozco never thought that the start of her career would be during a global pandemic. Ms. Orozco started teaching January of 2020 and two months later she had to pivot to virtual classes. At the start of the new school year, Diana was ready to take on virtual learning with a new direction. She wanted to engage learners and teach content in a way that used the likes of her students to growth their understanding. This past year has been tough, no doubt, however Diana, just like many others, tried to make it the best experience for her students.
This will be Diana's 2nd time presenting at the Bilingual Virtual Teacher Conference and this time she is bringing us an insight into how she teaches math, the strategies she uses and even some resources to keep our students learning and growing while having some fun.
