Verónica Rodríguez-Collazo has worked in the field of education for 22 years. She started her career as a teacher in her native Puerto Rico, where she taught in Bilingual and English Immersion Programs for 14 years. In 2011, she moved to Texas where she has worked for Fort Worth ISD and Lewisville ISD in Dual Language and World Languages Programs. Her teaching experience includes both elementary and middle school. She currently serves as a Language Arts and Social Studies Learning Facilitator for grades K-2, a role that allows her to write curriculum and to provide job-embedded coaching and training to teachers in numerous monolingual and dual-language campuses across the district.
